After quite a long hiatus, the blogger (Mrs. Windell!) is back!
Look at our pictures to find old friends and new ones, too!
Abby, Ben, and Lila Mae enjoying music and movement during circle time.
Lila Mae and Mitchell in the toy center.
We work on using toys and materials appropriately, and playing interactively with each other.
Ben and Abby were learning how to play a memory game.
At the game center, we work on many skills such as taking turns, learning rules to new games, and using good social language.
Lila Mae was working with the play doh, great for building hand strength.
Mitchell used letter stamps with his play doh. "M" is for Mitchell!
Ben used the letters with his play doh, too!
Mitchell and Lila Mae played together with the foam blocks.
This is a great opportunity to work on sharing,
making comments to a peer (Look what I made!),
and even color and shape recognition.
At the painting center this week, we painted stripes on our Cat in the Hat hats.
How cute!!!
When we cooked, we made Cat in the Hat fruit kabobs.
We put strawberry and banana slices on a straw in a red and white pattern.
Ben and Mitchell were ready for their turn!
Mitchell knew just what to do.
Ben got busy with his, and Mrs. Sageser helped Lila Mae.
Abby made a yummy pattern. Now eat it up!
Thanks for visiting, and check back soon for some new pictures!
